Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia has again called for state-centre co-operation against terror. Raje pointed out that India doesn't even have a comprehensive database on terrorists as yet.

"Unless we act to strengthen the police and other things, it becomes very difficult to look on a worldwide scale. It is therefore very, very important that a common cell be put up for all states, where there's a database. Would you believe India does not have a database? There has to be a database for all these people," Raje said in Jaipur on Thursday.

Meanwhile, United Progressive Alliance Chairperson and Congress President Sonia Gandhi along with Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil visited the blast sites and met the injured in SMS Hospital.

Shivraj Patil later said the Centre and the state government would work together to help the victims.

"Sonia Gandhi has come here to show her condolence. We condemn this incident. The state government has helped in every possible way and central government will also provide its help in every possible way," he said.

The serial bomb blasts on Tuesday evening in Rajasthan's capital killed 63 people and left about 200 injured.

A little known terror group Indian Mujahideen has claimed responsibility for the eight blasts. It sent e-mail to some news channels on Wednesday evening along with a video clip showing a cycle with a bag that it claimed had a bomb.

The e-mail also says the cycle was used for the blast at Choti Chaupad.
