Mumbai : Matrimonial services provider Shaadi.com, a People Group's venture, plans to increase its user base to 300 million people by the end of the current financial year, a top company official said.

"We have a vision of reaching around 300 million by this fiscal end from the current penetration level of 40-50 million which is through online, offline and DTH," People Group's Chairman and MD Anupam Mittal told reporters here on Monday.

The company has recently tied up with Vodafone to launch its new service on the operator's mobile phone named 'Shaadi.com on Vodafone'.

"Our tie-up with Vodafone is a step towards our goal of reaching 300 million people. The new service is a one-of- its-kind integrated matrimonial service on mobile phone," he said.

The company was also tying up with other telecom operators for providing a similar service, which would be finalised in the next three-four months, he said.

One of the proposed tie ups could be with Airtel, he said.

Vodafone customers can access the matrimonial service by calling 57007 or by sending Shaadi as an SMS to 57007 or by clicking on shaadi.com link on Vodafone live!
