Aarushi case: Krishna friend may know of weapon, cells
NEW DELHI/LUCKNOW/BANGALORE:
As CBI remains focused on the missing murder weapon and cellphones of Aarushi and Hemraj, seen as crucial to unravel one of the biggest murder mysteries of recent times, a manhunt has been launched for a close friend of Krishna.
This friend, residing in New Delhi, is believed to be in the know of the weapon and the cellphones.
Aarushi's cellphone, CBI suspects, contains some visual clips which may turn out to be irrefutable evidence in the case and may also shed light on the possible motive.
The entry of a fresh suspect on CBI's radar coincides with the agency putting Nupur Talwar, Aarushi's mother, through a lie-detector test and a psychological assessment test.
This is a clear indication that the Talwars were not out of the ambit of the probe into the murder of their daughter and their domestic help, Hemraj.
The new person came into the picture during the narco-analysis of Krishna, the arrested compounder of the Talwars, as well as the interrogation of Rajkumar, the help of the Durranis.
Though not necessarily of Nepalese origin, he is learnt to have frequently visited Krishna and Rajkumar, but has been missing since CBI declared Krishna's arrest. CBI is preparing to subject Rajkumar to a lie-detector test, followed by a nacro-analysis if required, to extract more information about the person in question who met Rajkumar on the night of the twin murders.
