Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told the Parliament on Wednesday that his government would seek the broadest possible consensus on the Indo-US nuclear deal.Sources say that a meeting with the Left is expected mid-March, just before Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee visits Washington.Visiting US Assistant Secretary of State Richard Boucher has repeated Washington's concerns that the time for the nuclear deal to go through is tight. When asked about the controversial Hyde Act, which the Left says compromises India's interests, he said its the 123 Agreement that's binds India, the Hyde Act is just domestic US law.
