NEW DELHI: A major fire broke out on Saturday, in a prominent hotel in the national capital, fire brigade officials said.
There were no immediate reports of any casualty so far. The blaze was spotted in the kitchen of the Grand Hotel's restaurant in Vasant Kunj in south west Delhi at 12:50 pm, they said. Thirty five fire tenders were rushed to spot to douse the fire, they said adding, the occupants of the hotel were evacuated. The reason behind the fire was not immediately known.
